I love and miss you so much Dad. You baby is finally getting married I know it took long enough huh? I have asked Sam to give me away, I hope you don't mind.

Hi Paw-paw,

   I just want to start by saying I miss you! I can't beleive you aren't here with me. I remember you use to give me suckers everytime I came by to see you even when daddy said no you would still speak them to me and we would go outside. I remember when mommy told me we had to talk the day after you passed. I didn't understand why you left and didn't say good-bye, I cried for days and asked why you weren't here. then I realized you didn't say good-bye because it's not good-bye you are waiting in a better place and we will be together again someday. But until then you will ALWAYS be in my heart!!!

P.S. I have your picture beside my bed and everynight I tell you good night. And I have it there because I know you will always watch over me!! :-)

First I would like to say I Love You Paw-Paw, and I'm so glad I had you in my life.

I'm going to miss you so much. But it will be ok because I know you will always be

with me. The last day we spent together was Father's Day and it was the best ever!!! You were so excited and happy. You spent the whole day laughing and dancing around I had never seen you do that before, I laughed so much that day. I will always remember how much I wanted a pony when I was little and you pulled out your calf and told me they were the same thing and I could ride the cow just like a horse and you really let me ride it. Then I tried to feed it and you laughed so hard because I did it all wrong. That was just another great Father's Day at my paw-paws house. I just want people to know that you loved me in your own special way because you were such a special man. Now you will be a special Angel and I'm sure there will be many times I think of you and laugh. I LOVE YOU ALWAYS PAW-PAW!!!!!!

Richard Rector was my grandfather but he was more like my Father.  He taught me everything I know.  He also made sure I walked a straight line, and whenever I started to curve he would get me back on track.  He was the greatest man I know.  I could go about PawPaw but I would be telling you all the things you already know about him and he wouldn't want that Paw-Paw wouldn't want us to sit around and mourn his death, he would want us to celebrate the full life he had and remember him for things he's done and the things he has taught us.  PawPaw you will always be in my heart and everytimne I look into my baby girl's eyes I will see you!
